Can an Archlord get to Monarch without becoming a Sage?
Yes.
How many monarchs are their within cradle?
There are eight currently, if we count the Eight-Man Army as one. Which we do, because individually none of them are a Monarch-level power.
How does Akura Malice pick who she has kids with, and what sort of presence does the father have in the life of the child?
She chooses her consorts from people with talents or bloodline abilities she values. Normally, the father has no contact with the child whatsoever.
What would a monarch level poison do?
It would be sentient, more like a plague than a poison, and it would not only devour the spirit and the mind, but would corrupt the madra and aura of the land around it as well. Inside a Monarch, being contained by their spirit, it might just act like a normal poison would in a normal person.
How would Northstrider fight something so massive though? Like, kick the tip of the Phoenix's talons? Can he just make his techniques bigger?
I mean, he fights a 50 kilometer dragon and eats it.
Lol, yeah, but how exactly? Can he just punch with ridiculous force from a Monarch grade body? Make his striker technique enormous? It's clear he can do it, I just don't understand how he does it.
Fortunately, THAT at least will be very clearly shown through the series. As you would imagine, large-scale Monarch fights will definitely be a thing.
Are Monarch bodily fluids highly coveted elixirs?
Just the blood. None of the others have any special properties. The parts of their Remnants would be far more valuable, if you could harvest them.
How do you inherit power? Do you just jump straight to monarch
Very carefully.
